So there’s really no kind of price benefit for being an owner of a previous version of Studio One Pro. That’s simply not what I expected. $149 for me to update as a Studio Pro One 3 owner or $99 for me to get the same thing regardless if I am a Studio One Pro owner.

I believe it’s $149 for any previous SO user to upgrade and get 12 months of updates; $179 for a new user to get 12 months of updates, and $99 for a new user to get 6 months of updates.

But yeah, people generally seem a bit unhappy that it costs $149 to upgrade regardless if you previously had a Pro licence, or an Artist licence.

Also, it’s not clear if you get bugfixes once your update period is up. I suspect you don’t, but I could be wrong.
