But yeah, people generally seem a bit unhappy that it costs $149 to upgrade regardless if you previously had a Pro licence, or an Artist licence.

Also, it’s not clear if you get bugfixes once your update period is up. I suspect you don’t, but I could be wrong.

Just a clarification, it does not look like the 6-mo sub gives you a perpetual license, so it is different from the 12-mo sub.

There seems to be people on both sides of the table who are upset. Pro people are upset that they have to pay the same price as Artist people to upgrade, and Artist people are upset that there is no longer an Artist version and they have to now pay for a Pro version every year if they want to keep up to date. Who thought up this scheme and couldn’t see there would be major pushback?

This would be a clever signature if I could think of one.
