I have contacted a couple of forum members, asking if they could reach out to Larry. I have never pulled back the olive branch I extended to him.  I have always treated him like a friend — and I don’t think it’s reality to compare my very gently telling him that we need to avoid political remarks. I was gentle with him because of our relationship not in spite of it. Anyhow, the olive branch to Larry remains. Hopefully, Larry will be open to a conversation. His first post was political and a clear violation of the community rules. Larry’s second post was not only hyperpolitical — violating a key rule — it also included a personal attack on a community member (i.e., idiot, stupid). One phone call. If we can have a civil, hopefully, friendly, conversation and he can agree to avoid politics and avoid insulting community members, he’s back. It’s really that simple.

I really don’t think that BandLab is offering the same. I don’t think Sasor sent Larry his cell number. I’m still treating Larry as a friend and have hope that it can be resolved. Of course, this community will move forward either way. But for anyone thinking I don’t care about Larry, I do.
