Thanks @Frank. I’m going to have to download, install and try this out right ASAP for my list of best free Kontakt instruments.

So far, literally every free Kontakt library I’ve tried from Fracture Sounds has made my list of the best free instruments. They’re really superb. Some of them are easily good enough to be paid libraries. I realize I sound like a fanboy. I don’t know anyone at this developer personally and I have yet to buy any paid libraries from them (which isn’t because there aren’t libraries of theirs that I want, it’s about me cutting back my budget) — and candidly, I feel a bit guilty for appreciating their free libraries so much and never purchasing anything yet. At some point, I will. But to anyone who’s never downloaded any of their freebies, they all run in the free Kontakt Player and all of them sound excellent. These guys don’t release anything that’s not top notch and they’re really generous with what they give away.

So, yeah, in summary, I probably have become a fanboy! But why wouldn’t any of us? They’re giving away really high quality, beautiful sounding sample libraries for free. Granted, they’re a business and they’re doing it to promote their business and drive sales, but IMO, that’s ethical marketing and even those that never buy anything from them benefit. Yada, yada, yada… I know! Just get it, folks!
