You can easily take any non-affiliate URL for Plugin Boutique and add ?a_aid=66fd59ee09bb9 on the end so that PiB will give back a percentage of the sale (I think it’s 2% to around 12% of the pre-tax amount depending on the product being sold) back to LinkedMusicians. It’s the same cost you would pay without the affiliate link. Retailers look at affiliate marketing costs much like advertising costs — more as an alternative to what we call advertising. I realize that some folks may not like the idea or consider my opinions on the poor ethics often practiced in influencer marketing (which is based on deception and shilling — the con of pretending that they’re doing honest reviews when developers / companies are providing them with free products, gifts, money and other compensation. While I’m doing affiliate marketing with a few retailers, you have my promise that I will NEVER let it result in biasing my opinion towards developers or censoring anyone’s honest and unbiased opinions expressed on LinkedMusicians. I ALWAYS want everyone to share their honest opinions about the plugins, DAWS, sample libraries and other products and services we discuss on this site. The rules on this site are all founded on ensuring our community is friendly, helpful, respectful and free of bias and shilling. If you have purchased a plugin library that you think was terrible, I want you to share that, even if the developer was my brother-in-law (my BIL isn’t a developer BTW, it was just a hypothetical!).

If you have any questions about it, just ask. My nature is to be honest and transparent. I realize that with my outspoken views on unsavory practices of influencer marketing, you may have concerns and I respect that and will answer any questions with respect and always strive to be helpful.
