Having bought a Musio 1 perpetual license, I’m very excited to see this. I have also put in a product suggestion for Cinesamples to create effects and presets similar to the kind of snapshots Kontakt has.  I think Musio 1 perpetual license– when on sale — represents the best value for sample libraries of its kind today. I picked it up from Best Service for $149 US on their Black Friday sale, and that was probably the best deal I’ve ever found on a same library collection of that depth. I suppose the Komplete packages are the closest comparable item, and that costs a lot more.

If Musio were to add effects and presets similar to Kontakt, I think it would be even more of amazing deal. And yes, that’s coming from someone who has consulted to several Musio competitors. FTR, I’ve always told developers I’ve advised that when I consult to them, they aren’t buying the right to influence my personal opinions I share in online communities or social media but are exclusively contacting me for my strategic consulting understanding that I may express opinions about their products or competitors. I don’t offer my opinions for sale as influencers do. While it’s the norm in the marketing world today, I am not a fan of it. I find it incredibly ethically problematic, a scam.
