This upgrade thing is not making sense to me. Quote from Lunacy site (emphasis mine):
BEAM 2.0 breaks new ground by making every BEAM effect available as a standalone plugin. These are completely free for existing BEAM owners. New users can access these powerful tools individually, allowing you to get only what you need.
I own Beam version 1. After installing version 2, four of the six effects do not work and I see this instead (“Time” is one of the FX):
