I own Waves Abbey Road Reel ADT (Automatic Double Track) and a few other developer’s ADT plugins and after trying out the Air Music Tech Tape Double Track, I find it’s a keeper. I just came across the video for the plugin. I recommend picking it up. If you have never played around with automatic or artificial double tracking, it can be a lot of fun. I mainly use it on vocals, but you can use it on keys, guitar, bass, and drums. It was famously used on a lot of John Lennon tracks during The Beatles’ days. I used the Abbey Road ADT plugin on my cover of “I Am The Walrus” to get that sound, which of course, sounds different with my voice, but the effect did bring back the vibe of the original.
