Good questions for Musio / Soundiron. My guess — and it’s only a guess — is that the Musio version is a cut down version of the Kontakt library. To your point, putting in the term “Pro” is certain to cause marketplace confusion, with music producers looking at the two versions (Kontakt and Musio), possibly believing the Pro version has more functionality. Here’s where when you’ve managed marketing and advertising at a large company — and you have basic ethics — you would never do this kind of stuff. The legal department that specializes in marketing at a large brand would never let this go out the door (unless the  CMO overruled them). Also, I would strongly advise a developer against the naming issues that you brought up. I wasn’t aware of Soundiron’s lines well enough to know that.

Caveat emptor. I don’t necessarily think these developers meant to confuse the marketplace, but that is certainly what they’re doing. Not a good practice.
