Industry cred. When Steven was just starting out, we spent a couple of hours on the phone talking marketing and branding strategy and our mutual love for The Beatles (at the time his company was called “Yellow Matter Productions”; Steven loved that I immediately got the “I Am the Walrus” reference). I later introduced Steven to Dave Kerzner and we all got to witness Steven grow from young upstart to industry legend.

Eventually, I want to do an interview, and possibly a podcast interview with Steven and Dave (separately). I think both of them are really interesting people and have a wealth of industry knowledge to share. I just need to find time to do this. I actually have now had several developers let me know that they’d be interested in my interviewing them. Historically, I’ve always been the person being interviewed (in the business world), but frankly, I’d  much rather be the person doing the interview.
