🔥 8Dio Majestica Orch Library for Crazy Prices $29 for Std Version

PETER’S TAKE: 8Dio has been a price disruptor in the high-end sample library industry. They started their business focused on pro cinematic composers and aspiring composers, but as their prices have come down with very deep discounting and with the creation of SoundPaint, they’re reaching semi-pros,  students, and hobbyists like never before. It’s reached the point where two competitors teamed up to attack the company for “leading the race to the bottom” (referring to pricing sample libraries very low). This library cost $379,000 US to make. Their attitude — and it’s changed the industry — is: for libraries that have already been paid off (earned back their production costs), why not just discount them heavily and make high-end sample libraries more accessible? Now, I’ve spoken with some of their major competitors, and I realize that they all see that high cost orchestral libraries simply aren’t selling like they once did. Still, it’s mind-blowing to think that the pro version of this library can be picked up for $39. Yes, this isn’t a new library, but it’s still excellent enough that pros are still using it and it can be a dream come true for hobbyists.
