8Dio Releases New Kontakt (full) Library: Hybrid Emotions $49

NOTE: I’m friends with 8Dio CEO and will reach out this week and see about perhaps setting up a call to introduce her and Troels to LinkedMusicians and what I’m doing here. I had talked about the idea of establishing a community like this with Tawnia a couple of years ago and she really liked the idea of a community where respect for others was a requirement and non-toxic behavior wasn’t accepted, where users could share positive and negative experiences (always in a civil manner) with tools they use without a concern for being censored due to a developer site owner or advertiser influence.

Hybrid Emotions has been available for SoundPaint for around 4 years, and is now available for Kontakt.

Hybrid Emotions 2.0 for SoundPaint

Hybrid Emotions for SoundPaint has been around for about 4 years. I don’t own the library, as I mainly play rock and folk rock music, but my guess is that the SoundPaint sampler might have some advantages over Kontakt for this library. Of course, everything is dependent on your experience, comfort level, and preferences. But from my own experience, I would recommend that you compare the two platforms for this library and weigh which one best suits your preferences, expectations, and workflow.
