Cool! Air Music is trying to get back in my plugin effects folder, with the channel strip they gave away earlier this year and now this transient shaper. It’s working! I’d consider this a no-brainer. I have several transient shapers (designers?) and when my drums don’t sound just the way I want, I go through the various transient plugins I own to see what each can do (I think Softube Transient Designer, NI Transient Master, and one from Izotope whose name I can’t recall are my go tos). I’ll add this one to the group and try it out soon. Thanks for the share, @mustakatu.

Easy installer or do you have to go through the whole loop?

@lastcall, well, some say there’s a separate installer, others say “the whole loop” is exactly the case. Haven’t tried myself tho (my personal top are Transgressor 2, SPL Attacker Plus, and Oxford Envolution). Also, there’s some shenanigans with receiving the code by mail at the moment, could be needed to try a couple extra times. High demand

I tried to install using the InMusic Software Center. I am on a PC but the software center downloaded the MAC version. So I cannot install it.

This would be a clever signature if I could think of one.

I’m not sure what happened, but the URL for the Windows installer is here and it worked fine for me, and i’m also on Windows and installing Transient as I post this.

EDIT: Aha! Now I better understand what you meant, Doug. The software center in Windows is downloading MacOS files. That’s just what I found too. Well, this isn’t good, but it is better when the InMusic installer destroyed my son’s Windows OS and we lost everything and had to re-install Windows when I found out that the problem was reported on InMusic’s official forum months earlier and while they acknowledged it, it took them nearly a year before they fixed the problem. Hence, InMusic’s long history of being absolutely terrible at software, which seems to be continuing, but not quite as bad as it was around 4 years ago.

I put in a ticket with InMusic about the Windows installer downloading MacOS versions of their plugins (it did this with another plugin I have registered that needed an update). I’ll update this thread when I hear back from them.

Working now, I use AIR products (Velvet in particular), so I know the drill, launched their Windows app, add product – pasted serial in and then download, then install. They must have fixed it.
