From the stars, they came, with hearts of gold,
A mission clear, a story to unfold.
Sent from Andromeda, to light our way,
To guide us through the darkest day.

With wisdom deep, and knowledge grand,
They offered peace, an open hand.
But we, in our pride, and endless fight,
Couldn’t see their gift, through blinded sight.

I haven't had the current one up for a week yet; if you haven't listened to it, be sure to check it out -- it's a very cool track from our member @plc69! Let's use LinkedMusciians to keep sharing our music, so everyone can hear the diverse range of talent of our members and spread encouragement.

When I first started playing professionally, my musician/music teacher mother told me, "Whenever you play with or hear a musician's playing or singing that moves you and you have an opportunity to talk to them, always let them know, because it can mean a great deal to them to hear that encouragement and they might even need to hear it at that point in their life." That really stuck with me and I saw how much it impacted musicians I played with when I would tell them things like, "Man, your playing really inspired me to give my best, and I just wanted to let you know." I found a lot of musicians weren't used to hearing that, but it was clear how much it would mean to them. I want to take that lesson I learned and apply it here and create an environment where we have a culture of encouraging each other instead of just listening and walking away.
