How hard can it be to insert a pic, and to make text bold and to align text center?

@jih64 Hi there! I think you made your post before I upgraded the editor or possibly you need to clear your cache so that you’re using the upgraded editor. If you give this a try with the new editor I think you’ll find it’s all pretty straight-forward and a HUGE improvement over the previous editor. Since we’ve already started a conversation here. try doing everything you described with the new editor in a post on this page. I can just delete our posts once everything is going smoothly for you. I customized the upgraded editor for our needs and it should be a breeze.

Try it and let me know what you think. There’s only one caveat: you’re best off inserting images in light mode, because the dark mode setting turns the pop-up to black and the text remains black as well, so you can’t see the labels. I’ll report that to the theme developer and hopefully he can address it in the next theme update. But this editor upgrade, is, I think, a huge step forward from what we had previously. Just a quick tip, but if you don’t find a function that you’re looking for among the icons, use the drop down menus. But I put in icons that I thought would cover the things most users would need to use for posting. Let me know if you think something is missing from the icons or menus.

I did this in less than a minute using an image from the linked site to ensure everything is working smoothly, and it is:
