We could have a freebie corner here on LM. And keep it up to date. Or two corners, on for temporary freebies, one for the permanent ones. @Peter, what do you think?
I’m there with you. I do keep a roadmap with a bunch of things I would like to add to this site, and that is one of the things on there, in fact, now that I have a staging site set up, I actually have a demo plugin installed to do exactly this fucntion — and it’s better than the functionality at the linked site. The reality is though, I don’t have the time to do the data entry and I have very bad tendinitis which means I really shouldn’t be doing all of this computer work and need to limit it. Consequently, if anyone has WordPress or similar experience — especially an IT pro, digital marketing pro, or is even just super tech savvy — and can pitch in / volunteer — to enter the free sample libraries and plugins, I’ll add the functionality. That’s really the hardest part, just entering in all of the stuff, then the community does its thing and rates everything.
So there’s the reality. We have a site ran by a guy with digital marketing expertise, but who has bad tendinitis, making him a terrible fit for being hands on entering in lots of data, or anything that consistently requires a ton of time using the computer keyboard.
Your friend who keeps the beat.

I’ve been working on/off with WordPress for ~18 years. I can’t take the whole bag to carry, but I can help punch in some data every now and then.
If there’s huge (huuuuuuge) amounts of items to add, I’d imagine someone better at coding though could come up with a way to add the data from a specifically formatted spreadsheet straight into the DB.
