Beside my company Triple Spiral Audio I have started a new company called Creative Creeds..

With Creative Creeds we (working with multiple people on this) are building a new all-in-one platform where you can sell your music, art, stream your music, collaborate with other artists, we are even building an online DAW where you can jam, record and work together with people from all over the world (yes I know…latency, we are working on that ).
But it will also contain an integrated social platform where you can connect with your fans and the fans with you.
A place where you can stream your concerts (live streams or just post older shows) and even a direct ticketing system where you can sell tickets for your concerts, exhibitions etc.

But the most important thing is that we will be AI free. No fully AI generated music or art is allowed.
AI is a complicated subjected (as the interesting posts on the forum prove) and using AI as technology and tool is allowed, but we don’t want AI artists or music or art just created from a prompt.

We are building around the concept that we humans are storytellers and that we need art that is created by humans to fully explore our full range of emotions and development as human beings.

That being said, we started a first closed crowdfunding for my Triple Spiral Audio clients, but as I started Triple Spiral Audio basically here on VI-C and hanging around here for almost 20 years I am posting it here as well.

The “closed” fundraising has a few extra perks such as 10% extra discount on all Tiers compared to the Indiegogo crowdfunding that will go live around 17th of April. You also get some coupon codes for use in my Triple Spiral Audio store.

The checkout of the crowdfunding is directed to my Triple Spiral Audio store as I have the architecture there up and running.
We are currently started building with next.js the platform, but that is in the very early stages.

Interesting. I’m good with you putting it here, @bselack. I would have done the same thing.

@jaapvisser is a member here. I’m a longtime customer and love his sample libraries. I don’t really know Jaap beyond a handful of emails, but he seems very nice. That’s a very, very ambitious project to put it mildly. It would take millions of dollars in marketing budget just to make that viable in addition to the budget to build it. Before I spent anything I’d want to know details of the management team behind it and their experience.

So, I’m interested in watching the project and Jaap can feel free to update us on the project’s progress here (for those discussions, the Music Gear Discussion forum would be the best fit; but we’re still building our community, so it’s no giant deal whether or here or there at the moment). I’d like to know who the other people are who are behind this company.

Hey Barrie, thank you for posting it here and Peter and the others, my apologies for the silence… It’s a busy time at the moment with both Triple Spiral Audio and this new Creative Creeds and I am diving into both with all my energy and I forget to keep up with places like this.

I agree that it is very ambitious, but we are not building it all at once. The philosophy behind the company is not to make big profits, but use whatever comes in to first pay the artists correctly, to have a normal subscription system for the users and to have good and fair pay for the employees of Creative Creeds and use the rest to build step by step what I have in mind.

At the moment I am in touch with a lot of artists, ranging from enthousiastic amateurs to big names in the industry. I feel blessed that I have so many great connections already with 9 years of Triple Spiral Audio and having worked with amazing guys like Simon Franglen (composer Avatar movies) for example and to have those connections.

As said, we are building this step by step and with establishing first the right connections in the industry and to get some major players also interested, it will also give us some good leverage when moving on to the next stage before or shortly after the summer and that is to introduce it to the public and to get the audiences ready for this. Agree with you Peter that we would need a lot of money for the marketing to get it out there.

The crowfundings are a good start to raise the first capital to build and to do this. The second thing my goal with the company and also how I have setup the company, is not to make tons of money as owner. Breaking even is our main priority, having good and fair pay to the artists and employees. I am tired of companies trying to making as much money as possible on the back of artists and the public.

This leaves that all the money that flows in can be put to good use for the artists, the development and to grow the platform and add those features we have in mind

We have adjusted the initial idea to have the TSA customers orientated crowdfunding only ran shortly. We got our first goal of €30.000 in and together with one of my partners who also thinks about the strategy, finances etc we decided to keep this up and running longer and to make use of it as well to grow the community. We are opening next week our discord server and just setted up the socials like Facebook and Instagram so that we can start soon to have our presence there and build up as much as we can before the big world wide crowdfunding.

When that starts I want to have secured some solid names and then we will also start a big marketing campaign as the first days will be essential.

Will try to keep things updated here as well a bit! I have attached our first ideas of the player and the Experience Room.
The experience room will be the centre of our platform. Users can select what they want to do e.g. listen to music, watch art/photos, stream movies, animations, presentations or chat with people interested in the same. You can combine it up to your liking, so you can also select music and watching art and social together for example.

I don’t know if you caught it, but we’re shutting down the forums and social media groups at LinkedMusicians and transitioning the community over to our subreddit, please keep us updated on Triple Spiral Audio and this project there. This site will continue as a resource moving forward with our various free tools and lists of best free resources and possibly add best deals of the week and best DAWS, plugins, sample libraries and tools chosen by the LinkedMusicians community. It’s simply been too costly and time-consuming to keep operating a social media platform, with that piece moved to the subreddit, we can continue to grow the community and keep growing our resources here.
