Dear Forever 29 User,

We want to inform you that all remaining Forever 29 vouchers will expire on May 30, 2025. If you still have unused vouchers, please make sure to redeem them before the deadline.

As part of our transition to a new website and system designed to enhance our services, we are unable to migrate existing vouchers. Additionally, as you may be aware, the Forever 29 program was discontinued some time ago, and this marks the final phase of its deprecation.

For those who were still subscribed to Forever 29 we have taken steps to cancel your subscription by 30 April. Therefore you will also need to utilise any existing vouchers including your latest by May 30 2025.

To ensure you get the most value from your remaining vouchers, we encourage you to use them before the deadline.

Got the same email, despite not having Forever 29.

They’re also discontinuing Dear Reality and Wedge Force plugins.

 

Ensuring that Plugin Alliance collectors and subscribers always have the latest and greatest plugins for the best prices, means we sometimes have to say goodbye to partners.

We are thankful to Wedge Force and Dear Realty for their support over the years. Future Plugins from both manufacturers will no longer be available or hosted at Plugin Alliance.

DEAR REALITY

 

Dear Reality are consolidating all immersive audio initiatives within the Sennheiser Group. As part of this process, Dear Reality will no longer continue as an independent company, and the brand will be phased out by the end of 2025.

From March 25, 2025, free full versions of Dear Reality plugins will be publicly available on the Sennheiser website. To get them just sign up for their AMBEO newsletter.

Plugin Alliance Dear Reality retail licence owners:

 

dearVR Music will no longer be offered on the Plugin Alliance platform. You can access legacy installers via your account section if you have purchased the products. If you need assistance with that, feel free to reach out to our support team.

Current licenses will be deactivated on July 31, 2025, and replaced by free downloadable products managed by Dear Reality. All existing customers will receive further information via email from Dear Reality, including a direct link to download a time-unlimited product version of their already purchased plug-ins.

 

 

What this means for MEGA subscribers who use Dear Reality plugins:

MEGA subscribers, with subscriptions activated before today and continuing to this day, will receive emails in a similar way as retail licence owners. This transition will take place between March 25, 2025, and July 31, 2025. During this period, the license manager will remain active, and the time-unlimited full versions will be available simultaneously, allowing customers to switch seamlessly.

What this means for licence owners

Licence owners of Wedge Force plugins will get future installers, updates, and support directly from Wedge Force. What this means for MEGA subscribers

All MEGA subscribers are automatically granted full licenses to legacy Wedge Force products. To retrieve these licenses, simply re-activate the product for the new license to appear.

Exactly what I thought.  

Was holding on to my last one, but think I’ll sell it instead as I already have the Three-Body EQ and Compressor as those are the “never get that low” plugins that are also top shelf.

Pretty poor business move to put a line in the sand like that given it sounds like some have kept their Forever $29 active all this time (which would have cost an arm and a leg to do)

I must admit, from a branding perspective, the name “Forever 29” was so incredibly derivative of an existing brand name (a clothing chain called “Forever 21”) it was both annoying and weird that I’m a little glad to see it retired. But hey, we have developers naming technology CLAP ( also the name of a sexually transmitted disease) and Lupis (a type of autoimmune disease), so I suppose it could have been worse.
