The dulcitone used for this library — a 5-octave Model F (serial #1286) — comes from Vintage Keys Studio and is owned by Steve Christie, an experienced session keyboardist and audio engineer who participated in the complete sampling of the instrument. Recording combined close microphones (Oktava MK012 with omnidirectional capsules) with room microphones (AKG 414) to deliver a sound that is both detailed and immersive.
