So to have to contact support just to get what I have already paid for would be a non starter. I have done this in the past but no more!

Hopefully IK can get it sorted out very soon; surely it can’t be that difficult?

 

I bought the TS5 Max upgrade a couple days after release and got the $99 upgrade price.  They don’t allow credits used for coupon deals, which I am fine with. There is just such HUGE amount of content, I know I won’t lay eyes on most of it.  I would be happy to check for specifics here.  I did look and verified that the Morley pedals are there working in Amplitude.  I managed to keep my wallet in my pocket since TSMax 4, so a lot is new to me.

The other similar issue was with the TONEX Signature Collections (like the Alex Lifeson, Gus G, ODS Legends, etc) not unlocking in TONEX for all folks.  That was part of the fix I had mentioned but you may want to check those and be sure you have them as they are some great tones.  I believe the MESA Reference collection is the most well-regarded from what I’ve been seeing, which makes sense since Doug from MESA is THE guy who handles those reference amps from which all other tones are crafted.  They are the literal originals.

If you don’t see them unlocked/available you can run a Restore Purchases in TONEX.

I just want to give my Kudos to IK for their resolution of an issue I had this week.  MANY years ago I bought Sampletank Max (physical package) on USB memory stick.  I had since noted that my in my upgrades to Total Studio Max 3, 4, 5  some of those ST sound packs were not installable from IK Product Manager (they were noted- “Install from USB drive”).  This has never been an issue for me because I have backups of my libraries and I just copied them over to new drives/systems over the years and they always worked when authorized.  I went digging for that old IK USB drive and couldn’t find it, so I decided to finally hit up IK tech support to get access fixed.  I got a canned response the next day saying that they didn’t understand the issue.  I replied with a detailed list of the facts/issue.  The next day I got a clearly human response with another request for more info (I admit that this is probably not a common issue, I am sure).  I sent a screen shot of the problem Sounds listed in IK PM.  Support hit me back in an hour thanking me and saying they would dig into it.  The next day they notified me that they fixed it, and I confirmed that the Sounds are all now installable on line.  Overall it took three business days, which I do not find at all unreasonable.  This was just a standard request using the IK web form.  I did not invoke the assistance of Peter II   BUT I am happy to see him here 😎

@bluescat – great to hear!  I will try to pass along good experiences like yours too so the team doesn’t feel like I’m only giving them third-party lectures 🙂

I am glad you didn’t have to use the Peter II batsignal but I am definitely here if anybody needs to summon me.  Just say “Peter II” three times.  Sounds kind of like Beetlejuice, right?  I don’t have that character’s charisma but hopefully I only share his redeeming qualities either way.
