Personally, the Waves plugins I do love and use all of the time are the Abbey Road series. I don’t like Waves WUP and related marketing practices, and I don’t appreciate that the plugins are for only one machine — I would greatly prefer if UAD or Softube made this, but until Waves’ partnership with Abbey Road Studios ends, they are the only choice for these plugins, which I do think sound great.  In the current sale, they’re starting at $34.99.
