I have been using this and love it, I’ll duplicate my vst, add this as a midi plugin to the clone, group the two tracks into a bus, and automate the volume of the harmony bloom track for somewhat of a wet/dry effect. I’ve primarily used it on piano so far but lots of other applications I’m sure

So guys, it seems that this is really just a somewhat random arpeggiator? Is that correct?

It’s not product related, but if anyone listens to the “podcast” at the bottom of the page is a complete AI spammy cringefest. It’s clearly an AI pseudo-podcast created from training an AI on the web page copy and having two faux podcasters blather on for 15 minutes, saying absolutely nothing and pretend to be amused for a little over 15 minutes. I’m not sure why the person behind these discount sites would have put it up (the same person runs VSTBuzz, Pulse, audioplugin.deals, and MusicSoftwareDeals, but they hide their full name and information).

Ahhhh, I was a little bit lost reading your message…

But yes… you mean the information below of the product at Audio Plugin Deals…

“Mario Nieto World Harmony Bloom MIDI Generator – In-Depth Review!”

                Absolutely crazy, yes!
I’ve seen these same voices on other podcasts arguing among themselves about AI and its feelings.

I don’t understand why they don’t check this kind of information.

                Investigation

As you can see, is a podcast from Audio Plugin Deals

It says: Disclaimer: this episode was generated by AI

@jorge I was interested in better understanding the plugin, but I was somewhere in between amused and annoyed by the pure spammy-ness of the AudioPlugin.Deals use of an AI pseudo-podcast. I can tell you why the guy did it. A ton of spammy price-comparison sites by solopreneurs do that stuff with the belief that it will help them gain better search engine rankings (spoiler, it doesn’t; in fact, it’s more likely to send a sginal that you’re spamming search engines). I was just blown away at how ridiculously bad it is.

But I was trying to figure out what the plugin was all about. And from what I can discern — because the copy isn’t very well written — is that it’s an arpeggiator that has somewhat off-the-beaten-path arpeggios. Is that correct?

Actually, Harmony Bloom is really, really good. Don’t be blown off by the stupid AI podcast. Mario Nieto is a very talented, responsive developer. You should check out his Youtube channel where he uses Harmony Bloom to create intricate beautiful pieces live. He has numerous tutorials on Harmony Bloom and Chord Generator, his other product. Chord Generator is like Audiomodern’s Chordjam on steroids, which Mario also helped developed. He also has a very active discord channel. This is the type of developer I like to support.

You want to get the real story? Go to the source:

                      https://marionietoworld.com/harmony-bloom/

This would be a clever signature if I could think of one.

Okay, I suppose I’ll pick it up. I really just tend to record myself playing, just like I did since I was a kid, starting with piano, maybe organ, then drums, guitars, bass and possibly synths or a Tron, and don’t use pre-written sequences. I’ve always had the mindset that if I want to play everything I record. But I suppose it could be a lot of fun to play with this — and for 12 bucks, it’s a cheap way to give it a shot. Thanks for the advice and links, @doug.

I am in his Discord channel as well, and he is being very transparent with the progress of the tool, feedback and updates.

In my case, I have writen some emails with him in Spanish (Mario lives in my same country) and I like how he receives the comments and feedback and that he is putting his efford to contribute with improvements in the products that he realizes.

I have to point that he did some chord generators and some tools too, like that in the past using M4L for Ableton Live.

I just bought it, but forgot to add the freebie! I sent the site owner an email. I’m an affiliate but don’t really have much contact with the mysterious guy who owns Audio Plugin Deals, VSTBuzz, Music Software Deals, and I think one other deal site. I forgot to add the freebie to my cart — it’s not exactly an intuitive buying process, if you forget it, there’s no reminder or automatic add for the free with purchase deal.

If anyone wants to buy this and help out with the costs of the site, you can use this link. You’ll pay the same price, but a portion of the sale will go towards helping with the costs of operating LinkedMusicians:
