Hey everyone, I am super happy to announce the pre-order for my new instrument. It is my first plugin (vst3/au) and the start of a new era for majetone.

 

Imagine you’re in a parallel universe and drums are synths and the different drum performances are waveforms in that synth.

I’ve ummed and ahhed about a pre-order for months now, but I think it’s the right way forward. If you don’t feel comfortable with this, then please wait for the full release (it should be by mid-late April 2025).

 

How will it work?

Purchase through the site and you’ll get access to a pulse download – when the plugin is ready for release I’ll update the pulse file and it will be available for instant download.

 

Why pre-order?

This will help get it out in to the world sooner, the plugin is done, tested and ready to go but I need to build the installers and cover license costs before I can release, which hopefully the pre-order will do or at least provide a buffer. Releasing something of this size as a one man band is a bit daunting, but this is the best thing I’ve made and I’m very proud of it.

 

The instrument will have an RRP of $199, an intro price of $120 and pre-order price of $80 with the pre-orders having first access. It’s 16.7gb on download which expands to 21.7gb of space.

 

Thank you in advance for the support, this instrument is my dream and I have been working on it for years, but I need a bit of help getting over the finish line.

 

I can’t wait to hear the music people make with it. I’ve made a lot of demos and video content, which I’d recommend exploring as it explains the process and concept.

I think James is super talented. I only wish that he’d do  to another mapping of Truck Drums — but the quality of his libraries, the sounds, are really inspiring, IMO. I love seeing talented indie developers like James succeed. I would urge everyone to check out Majetone.
