Majetone Gets Called Genius in Recent Sound on Sound Review [NOT A DEAL]

I’ve been telling you guys about Majetone for a while now. He’s a hidden gem of a developer and, when his libraries are on sale, they’re a total steal. Well, his first big review is in from a legit journalist — not an influencer (believe me, influencer endorsements are completely meaningless, as there’s free product, money, the prospect of future money and free stuff — influencers are realy just freelance promoters) — Sound on Sound magazine and — well, they seem to have a very similar take to my own opinion. Just a little excerpt:

“There’s a fine line between madness and genius. Dream Kit: Zenith sits very comfortably on the genius side.”

And no, I don’t really know the developer, beyond my being a customer, and once sending him an email for suggestions for general MIDI mapping for Truck Drums and more recently telling him about LinkedMusicians (so no, I haven’t consulted to him, I have no NFRs from him, I’ve been a regular paying customer like every other paying customer). He simply represents the kind of small very talented indie developer that I love to see succeed, that I used to give free advice to years ago before I ran out of spare time from doing stuff like helping coach Little League, girl’s softball, etc. You know, being a dad. And these days with a daughter in HS and a son in college, any free time is spent running this site! Truth.
