Thanks.
Do you have any info on how long this promo will run? Is this an LM exclusive?
The offer lasts until April 19th. This is an affiliate code for Bedroom Producers Blog.
While I’ve had several developers discuss doing exclusive deals with LM, including some major giveaways, I’ve hit the pause button on exclusives until we see an increase members’ posting activity. Once that improves, we’ll start doing exclusives. So the big focus for the next few months is going to be on doing things to increase interaction on the site. Unfortunately, though — and this may seem counterintuitive — doing exclusives is something we don’t want to do until we can more reliably predict how they might perform. With low interaction at this point in time, I wouldn’t want to negotiate an exclusive and see it underperform.
I have some things in store that I hope will get us talking more, including a podcast and MAYBE an email newsletter that I write myself in addition to our Daily Digests and Forum subscriptions. The current emails are system emails, so there’s no way for me to do any kinds of promotions with them or target them (there are laws and regulations around this area that I am very firm about following). But a newsletter allows me to do promotions and also it can be a better way to stay in touch with our members.
I’d love to get your thoughts.

Thanks for the answer.
I guess I should know it from the code, since I used to visit them, and I’m still receiving their e-mails (this is from “BPB Newsletter – FREE LUX Orchestral Strings Elements, VU202 sampler plugin & more!” isn’t it?).
Why “used”? Just because of time (the lack of it). I even disregard their e-mails (guess that will give you some hints 🙁 )
I’m not insinuating anything, & I’m truly sorry, but this is just the fact of my life. However, I do open some (“important”) e-mails, and try to visit some (“important”) sites: I almost certainly will miss this Melda promo if you didn’t post it (or perhaps I would know about it from my other “important sites”).
About talking more in here, I’ll try, but definitely don’t hold your breath.
About having others to talk more, I really don’t have a clue (I don’t do business business, I’m bad even at marketing myself). I do have 1 small opinion: newbies/new members usually have questions, and as long as a) they don’t feel discouraged to ask (i.e.: they dare/care enough to ask); and b) they get responses from more knowledgeable members (this is the very least; helpful answers definitely is better)
Then perhaps there will be some conversations. This conversation, for example, happened because you positively responded to my question, and because both of us care enough to converse.
Of course, there’s now chatbots that people converse with/ask question to. But, maybe, if you could somehow encourage people to chat/ask here instead of to chatbots?
So, I guess, at least for me personally, it’s how the sites/forums/mails stay relevant & worthwhile to visit/open/read. I did subscribe to BPB’s mails, and back then I read them & visited the site. It’s just that now they are demoted and, regrettably, is in low enough position that I can’t pay attention to them now. Don’t get me wrong though, I don’t say that I certainly won’t open/read LM’s (future) newsletters.
By the way, I made the word “worthwhile” above bold (as in the word “bold” here), but it doesn’t seem to differ enough with the non-bold. Just for your info (and, perhaps, to increase posting activities 🙂 )
Yes, that bolding issue has been an on and off issue for the forums that I’m going to try to resolve this weekend. When it’s fixed your bold text will show up.

@swijaya I just fixed the issue where bold text wasn’t showing. For the coders among us, it just took a CSS fix.
