I just wanted to slip this reminder in that our community is the most effective way to grow our community by telling others about it. To those who still go to the Cakewalk Forum, consider PMing the folks you know over there to invite them to be part of this community. You can tell them that:

– LinkedMusicians has many familiar faces from Cakewalk Forums along with a very friendly, non-toxic environment.

– LM doesn’t censor members from discussing subscriptions vs. perpetual licenses, competitors in all areas of DAWs, audio production tools, and other or censor civil critical remarks against any developer or business.

– In addition to having many more deals posted each day than Cakewalk Forums, the site has a lot more content, and options for musicians, producers, and audio engineers to discuss music making.  In addition to the forums, there are social media groups that are better suited for real-time conversations. There are regularly updated feeds of magazine articles from Mix, Sound on Sound, Songwriter, American Songwriter, Billboard, top podcasts and YouTube channels all together in one section.

– The user capabilities go far beyond Cakewalk Forum or other popular music forums, with more thorough user profile pages, and a more robust messaging system. It offers all of the forums that most of our group has used at Cakewalk Forums (beyond the Cakewalk software issue forums) and a lot more.
