I love the average sample library marketing copy. It’s so full of thoughtful phrases.
Native Sample – Acoustic Drum Kit is a free Kontakt Library that brings the authentic sound of an acoustic drum kit straight to your productions.
So they sampled a real acoustic drum kit and not a fake one? That’s good, we’re off to a great start!
But what does it mean that a sound is brought “straight to my productions”? Does it skip some kind of review process? I’m not sure I want that.
Carefully recorded and meticulously sampled, this library captures every nuance of a professional drum set,
Each instrument has six velocity layers but no round robins and just a single articulation. I guess that is all the nuance you can get from a professional drum set, if your name is Lars.
offering a wide range of EQ suitable for various music genres, from rock to pop and beyond.
What does it mean that an EQ is suitable for various music genres? What kind of an EQ isn’t? And oh my god, how far does it go if it goes BEYOND pop? What is even out there?
(FYI, each kit piece has your basic LF, LMF, MF & HF knobs. Also a reverb, a compressor, and a volume knob, so could be worse, I guess.)
Perfect for Beginners and Professionals,
Not to be confused with regular beginners and professionals, who have yet to earn their capital initials.
whether you’re creating a quick demo or a polished track,
I think they meant to write “turd”.
this library offers versatility and quality at no cost.
To be honest, it doesn’t offer either, and my time has a cost.
Unlock the potential of your productions with Native Sample – Acoustic Drum Kit,
This sounds exciting! What happens when the potential is unlocked? Can the world even handle my ascended productions?
and experience the warmth and character of a true acoustic drum set without breaking the bank.
Those are certainly all words that can be used together in a sentence.
There are honestly much better free drum libraries available. Skip this one.
I’m pretty sure the samples used in this are from an 80s drum machine. I believe it’s the Emulator. But I agree with @pseudopop, this is really not worth downloading. I created two lists of reviewed and recommended sample libraries and they include drum libraries that are leaps and bounds better than this. This library reminds me of a Soundfont library from the 90s that I would have passed on in the 90s.
Your friend who keeps the beat. I suppose I'm also the chef at this place.
Just so @satya doesn’t get the wrong idea, we do appreciate you for posting deals! I want to make sure you’re aware of that.

OK, I laughed all the way through, but this line made me howl:
“whether you’re creating a quick demo or a polished track,
I think they meant to write “turd”.”
Nobody’s topping that for a while. Maybe ever.
Yup, a polished turd is still a turd.
This would be a clever signature if I could think of one.
