NOTE: VSL makes some very lovely piano sample libraries, but with more and more developers like IK (PianoVerse), 8Dio, UJAM and others having sales on their piano sample libraries that come in at under $30 a piano sample library, it’s getting a lot more difficult for those who aren’t full time professionals spending $250 to more than $440 on a piano sample library. VSL makes some superb sample libraries, but the developer has a well earned reputation for being difficult to deal with and downright rude to customers, as well as joining in with Mike Greene in attacking competitors who price their libraries much lower than his company. This industry is clearly seeing disruptors in the market. Pricing piano sample libraries at more than $300 each and more than $500 for the full version — even when it’s an extremely rare model, like this one — guarantees that the library will be a very niche product.
