NOTE: I’m a huge Wurli fan. My mother worked as a music instructor for the Wurlitzer company and we owned a Wurly (the correct spelling) 200 electric piano, and later, replaced a Baldwin baby grand with a Wurlitzer upright piano (my mother would have preferred a Steinway grand piano, but we didn’t have the money and she got Wurlitzer pianos for basically wholesale prices). So, even though I own Wurlys from e-instrument, Skybox Audio, IK, Audio Thing, Waves, 8Dio, SoundPaint, and other developers, I can’t deny that I’m very tempted right now. The Famous E and some other Rhodes model libraries satisfy me for Rhodes, but my connection to the Wurly is too deep to let a great-sounding sample library pass by without spending time contemplating whether or not to buy it.
