Scheduled downtime for server maintenance & optimizations in a few hours

Just a heads up. We have some scheduled downtime coming up in a few hours. It’s a mix of routine maintenance and optimization of the server in preparation of our opening LinkedMusicians to the public later this month (yes, we’re finally committed to it, after some false starts due to some unforeseen events). Hurray! Please continue to tell your friends to join the site by emailing me an email with their desired username, first name and last initial at linkedmusicians at GMAIL dot com until then.

The downtime will occur between 2 AM – 4 AM this morning. It should only take 15 minutes.

If you’re posting on the site during that time, make sure that you save a copy of your post in something else, such as an email or document, just in case the server goes down in the middle of your post, otherwise you will lose your post. Otherwise, there are daily backups of the site, so the data here is safe.
