Great discount to bring down my favourite libs to $54
What are your favs?
I’ve been tempted by Voices of Soul and the Hollywood Backup Singers. Both seem like they’d be a blast to use on soulful tracks.
As a drummer, I played with a lot of different bands over the years. not just rock stuff like I’ve been recording. I worked through a couple of agents and sometimes replaced drummers at gigs. While I think I was easily most talented as a rock drummer, I played rock, jazz, blues, R&B, funk and dance music. The last project I had before my injury was with an incredibly talented gospel vocalist where we were working on my neo-soul-type arrangements of classic R&B tunes. I have some original songs I wrote for that project and could imagine using some of those background vocals could be pretty cool for that. But considering my very mediocre voice, I’m uncertain if I’ll ever attempt to record them. I’ve ended up recording a lot of covers of songs Lennon wrote and sang because they’re super easy to play and sing. But my musical tastes are pretty wide-ranging.

Your friend who keeps the beat. I suppose I’m also the chef at this place.
Same for me. I own Hollywood Backup Singers which are great. To complete the setup I will by Voices of Soul. For this price it’s a No brainer.
