Just a heads up for coupon code REKKERD that bring all those prices down
How much of a discount will it give you? Sorry, I’m on my phone and limiting my posting due to tendinitis. Also wanted to say that I’ve had some emails with the blogger behind the Rekkerd site and found him to be a really nice guy. I’m terrible at remembering names, but I think his name is Ronnie. I.go to his site and Bedroomproducersblog.com quite often.

Just tried on Synthmaster 3 upgrade from 2, brings it down to $15.20 plus you get choice of a free expansion. So 20% cheaper with coupon.
Okay, my pal @lamia6 and I were both discussing whether or not to upgrade from Synthmaster 2 to 3. FTR, I made the original post from my phone from a Facebook post and just got on my PC a little while ago and haven’t had a chance to check it out until now.
What does the group think? Does Synthmaster 3 bring much new to the table? Is it a worthy update? I own both of the main Synthmaster synths and am very interested; I’d love for it to be killer. I realize that A LOT OF YOU know a lot more about synths than I do. So I really would love to get your thoughts.
I’m going to check it out now.

Okay, some of those demo songs sound pretty nice. I’m leaning towards getting the upate. But I would still love to hear from people a lot more knowledgeable on synths than me to find what they think. @GoncaloL have you had a chance to play with Synthmaster 3 yet? If so, what do you think, comparing it to Synthmaster 2?

Bought it, downloaded it, installed it, and spent 10 minutes before bed playing it. I really like it!
I’d like to thank my fellow enablers. Like @lamia6 who PMed me to talk about it to ensure even though I posted from my phone and soon thereafter forgot about it, it was her discussing it with me that activated the GAS in me. It was @GoncaloL who activated my FOMO with a code that made this seem like a fantastic deal I couldn’t pass up — after all, it was just an inexpensive update to a synth I already own (that was my rationalization). I thank @musicman and @Fleer for reinforcing my acquisition mindset.
The big question though, while this upgrade is a great deal for those us who already own Synthmaster 2, is it worthy of my list of Best Deals of BF list pinned at the top of this forum? I created it to be helpful to others. If you guys think it should be on the list, I’ll add it. As an upgrade from S2 and with the REKKERD code for a bonus expansion, it definitely feels like a no-brainer to me.

This upgrade price for SM2 owners with coupon plus a preset of choice is practically a no brainer. I mean you get all that synth, al those new presets, all that flexibility, for less than the price of a Usynth. Also found out tonight you can use Synthmaster as a vocoder, that is so cool. Just spend the past hour watching – listening to some youtubes on it. Hearing some different elements for sure, like, imo S1 seems perfect for Industrial, S2 an EDM machine, this one seems like all that and more. I dunno, something different is going on with this one and I like it.
I am a little late to the recommendation party, but you would have been crazy not to have updated to SM3. The developer is super active on KVR and super responsive to bug reports. The KVR thread for SM3 is already up to 71 pages since the release last May. He is the type of developer that I love to support.
SM2 has always been rated high in the best of synths lists and SM3 only adds to SM1s and SM2s feature set. SM3 also loads all the presets from SM1 and SM2 so you can have all your SM presets in one place.
I could go on and on. If anyone else is on the fence, jump off, run out and buy it.
This would be a clever signature if I could think of one.

Yep, i would like to revise my “I really like it” to a “I love it!” After spending more time with it after my above post, I found an incredible amount of presets I love. Definitely a great upgrade. I’m very glad I bought it and highly recommend it.
