Flechtwerk Pro is an advanced macro synthesizer offering 24 unique synthesis engines, based on Mutable Instruments Plaits and its latest 1.2 firmware. Effortlessly sculpt your sound using three intuitive macro controls—Harmonics, Timbre, and Morph—each spanning a diverse sonic palette.

 

Shape your dynamics with the integrated low-pass gate (LPG) envelope, featuring decay, sustain and color controls for natural, percussive transients or smooth, filtered tails. The LPG can also be disabled for pure, droning textures. Envelope modulation is available for timbre, frequency, and morph parameters, opening up expressive modulation possibilities.

 

A tempo-synced LFO provides sine, triangle, square, saw, and ramp wave shapes to modulate your sound in time with your project. For creative unpredictability, randomization controls are available for transpose, harmonicity, timbre, and morph, letting you infuse evolving character into your patches. Flechtwerk also features a step sequencer for modulating the synth engine, complete with variable step length, clock subdivision, playback direction options, and dedicated randomization controls.

 

Additional features include a transpose control for shifting the pitch by ±1 octave and two flexible output modes: regular and aux, which can be used independently or mixed for stereo experimentation.
