I got TH-U years ago and IMHO it, and the additional Chop Tones stuff, is great. For a freebie it’s a definite no-brainer.

This contains a smaller set of components than that offered in the version available with the new Sonar, although not all of these were contained in the Sonar version.

Does the Essentials product offer a discounted upgrade path to the full product?
