🎉 Thanks For A Year of Significant Growth. A Glimpse at the Year Ahead…

I want to again thank everyone for a year of friendship, learning, and significant growth for LM. The last several months of LinkedMusicians have had month-over-month growth from 41% to 93%.  The Deals Forum and the Best Free Kontakt Sample Libraries curated list are the two most popular areas of the site that receive the most views at LM.

I had planned to write something for the blog about what’s ahead for LinkedMusicians, but I wasn’t able to finish it before New Year’s Day, so expect a post the first week of the year. But I’ll give an insiders’ view of what’s planned (these announcements can only be seen by our registered members, whereas the blog can be seen by anyone). It’s been around two-thirds of a year since LM opened to the public and a lot has been learned about your interests. Here’s a quick list of what’s coming in 2026:

• A Daily Email Deal Digest. Instead of dozens of individual emails each day — one email for each deal — you’ll soon be able to choose to receive one email per day with a digest (summary) of all of the emails sent that day up until a certain time. We’ve had a lot of requests for this and our solution was custom built by our own @lamia6 for LinkedMusicians. This will be released in Q1 2026.
• Exclusive Deals with Indie Developers. We may be doing this with some retailers, too. I’ve already had discussions with one of our favorite retailers.  We may be introducing Group Buys exclusive to LM. A Wurly group buy???? It could happen! 🙂
• More indie developers are coming aboard LM. I’ve begun to reach out to some of the more than three dozen sample developers that I’ve provided consulting advice to over two decades. I’ve intentionally hesitated on inviting them here, because frankly, with activity being on the low side, I want to get it up a bit before they come, as first impressions mean a lot.
• Better ways of finding information on the resources we use. My objective is to make unbiased information from non-compensated sources easy to find and tap into. So you don’t have to sift through a bunch of forum posts here and at other sites to find out what users of a sample library or plugin library have to say. You can save time and get the information you need in one place, quickly without needing to rely on compensated parties, like influencers or go to biased forums owned by developers, where voices that don’t fit their agenda are muted.
• More enjoyable content about topics you love. The more you use LM, the more that’s learned about what does and doesn’t interest you. In 2026, that learning will be used to have more contrent that fits your interest.
