Timeline Extended: Forums Will Remain Open Until June 30, 2026

Hey everyone, Peter here.

After careful consideration of feedback on how to best serve this community and preserve the resources we’ve built together, I have decided to extend the forum closing date by one additional month. The message boards will now officially transition to a Read-Only archive on June 30, 2026.

This extra time ensures a seamless migration and gives everyone a chance to save any specific threads or data they need before the transition.

To be absolutely clear: The LinkedMusicians site isn’t disappearing. In fact, we’re going to keep building resources and tools here for music creators for music theory, audio production, songwriting and composing, and our great best free lists of sample libraries, synths, effects, plugins, DAWs.  This week, we released a new GAMES section which presently features a music theory game and two additional games will be released before the end of next week. One will be a Wordle-like word game, but the word of the day will be a music term. The other game will be focused on rock trivia — all game will be free to play.  Existing threads will remain online and fully searchable as a static archive.

• LinkedMusicians Weekly (The Newsletter): Featuring the best deals of the week, glitch sales, discount codes, exclusive deals for developers, industry analysis and more. [I expect to have the registration available by next week. Everyone will need to subscribe to receive it.].
