i still think (i suggested this right back when you first suggested a new forum) that the forums should be broader to start with and then as the user base grows introduce more specific forums:

hardware
software
deals
general

tbh i’m a bit surprised and somewhat overwhelmed with the scope of this place already

In the weeks since the site launched to the Early Adopters I have ended up scaling things back so that folks don’t feel overwhelmed with choices or turned off by seeing empty forums and Groups. I hope you like it @pwal
