Forums › ALL THINGS MUSIC › Trailer for Upcoming Phil Collins Documentary
As a kid, I was incredibly inspired by Phil Collins drumming with 70s era Genesis. I would buy every album of other bands Phil played with, such as Brand X, John Martin, etc. Granted, he lost me in the 80s, but he was once a brilliant prog rock drummer. Having had an injury that stopped me from playing, I can very much relate to what he’s dealing with. I’m very much looking forward to this documentary.

In HS, I had a poster on my closet door for Pro Mark drum sticks with Phil and other drummers. Phil had very long hair then. This Brand X (a jazz rock fusion band) track shows the kind of drumming Phil was doing back in the 70s.
