There are certain developers that I don’t ever recall seeing even one negative post about, and Kilohearts is in that group.

One of the important things I plan for this community is taking our collective knowledge and experience and sharing it to help others. In that regard,  I plan to create lists of most trusted / highly regarded brands. The reason? To help guide others when researching these kinds of products. But it’s likely not going to happen until later this year when the community is larger. Until then, I invite everyone to post and seek other’s experiences when researching various plugins and sample libraries. I will always turn to friends and this group for advice rather than influencers.

I’ve seen numerous criticisms of Kilohearts as to cost/value and their snap-in-based model, FWIW.  That said, I hold them in very high regard, myself.  Phaseplant is my favorite synth, by far, for designing sounds from the ground up.
