Serious Question: If you end up updating an older plugin that you haven’t purchased WUP for, do you have to purchase WUP to get it to work or can you go back to an earlier, non WUP version?

@peter You would only get updates up to the version available when your WUP ran out.

For example, I have Platinum but can only access the old GUIs for the above plugins because my WUP for it ran out while it was on v14. I would need to renew coverage (WUP) or buy an upgrade to access the new GUIs. The plugins still work fine though just on the old GUI.

Okay, so if I understand this correctly then doing an update won’t automatically result in my being required to pay mandatory WUP to Waves to get my older plugins to continue to work or needing to submit my first born for a life of servitude to Waves, right? I have become very attached to my son, so I really want to make the right decision here. 🙂
