Now this looks interesting. Finally swap my voice for a good one.

Thanks @fleer
I’ve not come across this before but I’m going to give it a closer look.
As a long time supported of Synth V, this looks like an interesting alternative approach – a voice replacer including instruments as well as other voices! The instrument thing you can do with Melodyne pitch to MIDI but it’s the vocal replacement that most interests me. The only downside is that it requires an Internet connection (no offline mode).
I wonder how good the input vocals have to be to get good results? Dr Mix’s results seem pretty good in this vid, especially that scratchy soul tone at the end…
I bought VoiceAI for Black Friday. I used the demo and thought it was good — not great. For this price, a lot less than I paid, I think it’s well worth it for anyone interested in this kind of tool. I would recommend trying the demo first.
This is the only song I’ve used it on, a cover of Lennon’s “Happy Christmas.” I used a female vocalist for harmonies on some parts. I mixed it low enough that it doesn’t stand out but supports my voice. If you pay close attention, you can hear the female vocalist.

Thanks for the information @peter and the demo song.
I would like to hear a few more examples of it used on the main vocals, so I might just go for the free trial.
Here’s the link if anyone else wants to try it.
