WA Production Babylon 2.1 update – 1500+ new presets

The synthesizer Babylon 2 has been updated today. The new version, 2.1.0 brings a few bug fixes and optimizations as well as 1500+ new presets!

Quote from the update log:

Overhauled factory presets and extended the library with 1500+ new presets
New: Import Babylon v1 presets*
New: Fast Mode for sharper filter modulation
Bug Fix: Free Run mode for oscillators

Bug Fix: Env 3 and 4 curve shapes not being saved
Saving and loading optimization
UI: Wider options for preset browser
Minor fixes and improvements
*Due to structural changes in Babylon 2, some v1 presets might not sound exactly the same.

I don’t know. I guess if you have good synths already then you don’t need it. But then again this version must have more than 2000 presets in total, so you get a whole lot of sounds for the money.

Well, I know for a fact that I don’t need it. €0.007 per preset does seem like good value, though. 🙂
