I think a ring modulator does this as well, doesn’t it? Sum and difference frequencies? Multipliers do it, too.

Hmmm, undecided about this one. It looks like the acoustics came out around 2017 so they might be a little aged. I can’t find any examples of their classical guitar but their steel string examples sound a little too MIDI to me. But that might be just the way the artist wrote it, though.
