Not specifically a deal but a wonderful sounding instrument. I was a bit disappointed with their previous 3 Duduks release but this is astonishing and is tempting me very much. The duduk is my very favourite instrument. $50 – haven’t checked the £ price yet

Interesting – thanks Peter – I must admit I won’t even consider Sonar until they put out a perpetual license – that seems to be increasingly unlikely. I’m sticking with Cakewalk until it breaks! I can’t justify a monthly sub or a high purchase price for a perpetual licence and would likely look for cheaper options

I’m really looking forward to seeing the outstanding Canadian singer / songwriter James Keelaghan at the Black Swan Folk Club here in York, England in a few weeks time. His song ‘Cold Missouri Waters’ is possibly the most moving song I have ever heard and he has plenty more up to the same standard. Check him out – he’s a great performer too!…Read More

Another songwriter well worth listening to is Richard Shindell – this is one of his best songs – also covered by the magnificent English folk duo Show of Hands – check out their Witness CD

That song, “Santiago,” is lovely! I really like it a lot. That’s my favorite of the bunch. I’ll share this with my wife, I’m sure she’ll love it too. So, you succeeded in doing what I desired for this GROUP — to expose each other to new music and hopefully, with our minds and ears open, we’ll discover artists and music that is new and special to us.

It really is beautiful – to hear 3000 people singing that in a marquee at Shrewsbury Folk Festival was one of the most sublime experiences of my life!
