Sorry to hear about the health problems. Wrist pain sucks.

If you haven’t already, I’d recommend trying out a vertical mouse.

With a normal mouse, most people use their wrist to flick the mouse around whilst keeping their arm relatively still. Which is supposedly the wrong way to do it. Instead, you’re supposed to move the mouse more with your arm whilst keeping your wrist still.

With a vertical mouse you’re not constantly pressing your wrist against a flat surface either. If you’re doing really basic office work and not aiming to be the sharpest shooter in Counter Strike 2, it shouldn’t take too much time to adjust.

For any creative, I’d also recommend picking up the book ‘Drawing Stronger’. Whilst it being aimed at illustrators and whatnot, it’s general in nature and worth a read for anyone slumped over their computers: https://www.amazon.com/Draw-Stronger-Self-Care-Cartoonists-Artists/dp/1941250238
