A LOT! More than three-quarters of marketing departments are routinely using AI in their written materials. Online shops are especially relying heavily on AI for online product descriptions.

I did an article on the impact AI is having on marketing earlier this year and it’s profound in terms of processes and changing job responsibilities (including the elimination of some jobs). Personally, I mostly use AI when I’m doing business writing for research (not to write for me). I actually used AI for an upcoming LinkedMusicians blog post on the DAW, plugin and sample industry. So many people post about it without knowing facts — just using their gut feeling, and most of the time, they’re dead wrong. I thought it would be interested for folks to learn about the actual state of the industry rather than speculate. I used an AI tool that’s really good for research tool to find the data. It’s just like a killer search and summary tool, which is perfect when you’re writing a fact-based article.
