That time of year when most of us update our versions of Komplete! What new stuff is everyone anticipating? I’m probably going to stick with Komplete Standard. I’m pretty excited about:

– The new features in Kontakt 8, and I have heard good things from some Kontakt developers.

– Guitar Rig 7 Pro. I like 6, although I like Amplitube better. I’ve read that Guitar Rig 7 is a nice improvement from 6.

– Izotope Ozone 11 Standard. I currently use Ozone 9 to master everything I’ve shared on SoundCloud.

– Session Percussionist. Sounds good, looks fun.

– Electric Keys – Tines Duo. I always appreciate electric pianos.

 

What about everyone else? Kontakt is my go-to sampler, with Musio and SoundPaint my next choices, and SD3 or AD2 for acoustic drums (I’ve been using AD2 a lot more since their 2.5 update).
