$200 for Music Production Suite 7.1 upgrade seems a little disappointing. It was $99 at introduction. All I’m really looking for is Neutron 5 which is NOT 50% off (it’s $120).

Here’s my Music Prodution Suite bundle experience. A couple of years ago I bought a bundle similar to Music Production Suite that they no longer sell. It didn’t have a few of the products in MPS. However, I ended up getting those plugins, as well as some advanced versions that are beyond what was in the Music Production Suite 6 Bundle. So, I asked Izotope at their site if I can qualify for the Music Suite 7 upgrade pricing, since I own everything in the package and even some of the advanced versions that are more costly than the versions in the package. I asked this on two occasions. On both occasions they told me no, there’s nothing than can do.

So I have quit buying Izotope since then, so my Izotope stuff is not current for more than a year by now. I’ve largely been turning to Sonible, although, clearly they don’t have all of the same tools. I might ask the same question from Izotope again in time. It’s just such a fanatasically stupid situation.
