Thanks for the answer.
I guess I should know it from the code, since I used to visit them, and I’m still receiving their e-mails (this is from “BPB Newsletter – FREE LUX Orchestral Strings Elements, VU202 sampler plugin & more!” isn’t it?).
Why “used”? Just because of time (the lack of it). I even disregard their e-mails (guess that will give you some hints 🙁 )
I’m not insinuating anything, & I’m truly sorry, but this is just the fact of my life. However, I do open some (“important”) e-mails, and try to visit some (“important”) sites: I almost certainly will miss this Melda promo if you didn’t post it (or perhaps I would know about it from my other “important sites”).
About talking more in here, I’ll try, but definitely don’t hold your breath.
About having others to talk more, I really don’t have a clue (I don’t do business business, I’m bad even at marketing myself). I do have 1 small opinion: newbies/new members usually have questions, and as long as a) they don’t feel discouraged to ask (i.e.: they dare/care enough to ask); and b) they get responses from more knowledgeable members (this is the very least; helpful answers definitely is better)
Then perhaps there will be some conversations. This conversation, for example, happened because you positively responded to my question, and because both of us care enough to converse.
Of course, there’s now chatbots that people converse with/ask question to. But, maybe, if you could somehow encourage people to chat/ask here instead of to chatbots?
So, I guess, at least for me personally, it’s how the sites/forums/mails stay relevant & worthwhile to visit/open/read. I did subscribe to BPB’s mails, and back then I read them & visited the site. It’s just that now they are demoted and, regrettably, is in low enough position that I can’t pay attention to them now. Don’t get me wrong though, I don’t say that I certainly won’t open/read LM’s (future) newsletters.
