Its also a place where people chat normally with one another in a healthy discurs.

Thanks, @thor. I don’t know if you noticed it, but I’m closing down the forums and OPEN MIC after the giveaway. You’ve been a big encouragement to me (so people know, Thor is a long time friend of mine, who has encouraged me with this idea from the beginning; Thor is a games music composer). Frankly, it’s just been far too much work and cost to maintain. So I’m going to keep the resources available, and may even keep the blog and we’re going to go out with a bang with this giveaway from two developers whose work I love who have both been emotionally supportive of LinkedMusicians from the beginning. Actually, you and Greg were the earliest supporters of this passion project. Everyone can still stay connected via LinkedMusicians Facebook Group and subreddit, but this site will turn into resources and,I haven’t made a final decision on whether or not to continue blogging.

What I want to do most is make this giveaway a success. So everyone is clear, I don’t make any money off of this. I have never received any financial support from any developer for LinkedMusicians. Every bit of my enthusiasm for the developers I’ve praised here is 100 percent sincere and uncompensated (I’m a business owner, not an influencer hawking products).

This giveaway was intended to celebrate our community and to boost conversions for LinkedMusicians. Now that I’ve made the difficult decision to close down the forums and OPEN MIC, I look at this as the final hurrah for the social aspect of LinkedMusicians and will be immediately closing down the forums and OPEN MIC when the giveaway ends.

If anyone wants to discuss this, please use another thread, so this one will be easier for me to manage when the giveaway concludes. I created this thread to discuss what’s next for LinkedMusicians:
